I woke up today feeling empowered. As I logged on to Facebook, I was happy to see that I had a few more responses to a note I had posted. I was even more surprised that I had inspired Danny Arrington to write a note. I have observed him and he is admired as a person of great influence and I know it’s because he has authentic and soulful intentions. His note was amazing and inspired me to write a note in response. In his note he asks,” Are you living your life at “Full Expression”? Well, that answer for me is YES. Are You? Have you realized and fully developed your Social Soul?
I would like to share with you something I wrote for my social marketing blog and it will gives you a window into my “social soul”.
My Mission Statement:
Help – we are all coming from the place where we want to help other people.
Educate – If we are attempting to impart knowledge and be an “authorized” expert, it is our responsibility to truly educate and pass on our insight to other people who need it.
Learn – we must commit to being lifelong learners on the topics that matter to us and make the biggest difference in our lives. And if we teach, we have the added responsibility to continually learn.
Proper – It is also our duty to prosper and flourish and live a life of abundance (comes in many forms) We need to progress and prosper as individuals, as a community, as a business and as a group. But most importantly we need to do it for our families who are the #1 reasons why we do everything.
Mission Statement = H E L P
Now I know that these might sound like a lot of really great words. It’s writing, I like to write and spill my words out on paper. It is an easier way for me to express myself.
But I happen to believe those words and I thought a lot about each one.
Do you believe in them? Go Back to Mission Statement above.
Then, Ask and Answer these questions of yourself:
1) Do you want to help people?
2) Do you want to impart knowledge?
3) Do you want to prosper and have abundance? And do you want that for others?
Did you answer yes to all 3?
I believe that the social landscape that we all inhabit online demands a true understanding of one’s sense of soulful intention. The opportunity exists for all of us who “get it” to share our good intentions with people who are not quite there yet.
Social media is a great starting place for any person looking to educate themselves in social networking, social media, internet marketing, small business, entrepreneurial and enhancement training. But the intention behind the marketing message is much more important and so much more valuable in the long term. Short term gains are fine and there is nothing wrong with trying to make money. But to achieve long term social success the answer lies deep in your social soul.
It is important to give credit where credit is due and shine a light on all the wonderful people who are out there teaching, mentoring and inspiring other people to make positive changes in their personal and business lives.
“To motivate, educate and inspire is like giving someone their own blank check” ~ Nancy Arroyo-Perez
But we also expect people to live up to a higher standard of professionalism and social ethics when marketing online. It is sometimes necessary to hold people accountable for the quality of the information they provide and the content they produce. Otherwise, it will become impossible to distinguish the good from the not so great. People need to respect, like and trust other people in business. But it is also important to know where that person is really coming from.
That’s what true authentic and attraction marketing is all about.
So Remember the Money is NOT in the list or how may cool points you can accumulate.
True wealth lies in your ability to put the needs of the greater good before yours. Even bigger money awaits when you achieve genuine solid relationships built on mutual respect, reward and positive intentions in business and friendship.
Peace and love always, XOXO
